Led Zeppelin sings of a land of ice & snow, my story isn’t as poetic. I come from a land of lakes & locks (Kawartha Lakes & Trent-Severn Waterway locks). Heading west I tried Brandon & found Calgary to be the perfect fit, just call me Goldilocks. My husband & kids would tell you I don’t need a microphone to be heard, especially when cheering at their games or for my Edmonton Elks (Sorry Stampeder Fans!!)

Thankfully, they do give me a mic at XL 103 & allow me to play radio on the weekends.
