The Calgary Humane Society exists to create a more humane world – when animals are at their most vulnerable, their dedicated care sees them through. They are always there to protect and nurture the welfare of all animals with kindness and love, and in turn, animals remind us every day what it truly means to be human.
Join the Calgary Humane Society for the return of Dog Jog! This annual event is all about ending animal cruelty and raising vital funds to support life-saving programs focused on education, protection, rehabilitation, and giving animals a fresh start.
Join them on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at North Glenmore Park along the Reservoir for a 5 km walk or jog. Dog Jog is a fun, family, and fido-friendly event—a non-competitive walk or jog fundraiser that raises awareness and funds for the thousands of animals the Calgary Humane Society cares for each year.
After your walk, you and your family are invited to celebrate your fundraising achievements with us. Our outdoor festival features a dog-friendly beer garden, food trucks, a kids’ zone, bouncy castles, an agility course, family-friendly live music, and much more!
By participating in Dog Jog, your fundraising efforts help support programs focused on:
🐾 Cruelty prevention and public awareness
🐾 Humane education in our local schools and community
🐾 Animal rehabilitation
🐾 Creating a brighter future for the vulnerable animals in our community
